I had my 2 little toes done, the shoes are flat bottomed shoes that don’t bend. My insurance paid out something like $8,000.00. It took a few hours in the hospital in at 6:30AM out by 10:00AM

what kind of shoes? how many toes did you have amputated? how long it take ?
i just need one done except i don’t have insurance. do you have any idea how much your insurance paid out? I’m just trying to figure out if I can even afford to have it done since I don’t have insurance and the office visit is $150 and if i can’t afford it it’s not worth it to pay the 150.

Not a big deal I had a local and I wore funny shoes for 2 weeks, Had to stay off feet for 1 day. I have insurance. After 2 weeks had the stiches taken out and on I went

what kind of process was that for you? general anthestic or local? did you have insurance? cause i have none and want it amputated

I had that condition also and I had the offending toes amputated, I walk fine and no one notices the missing toes, unless they are really into toes and stare at my feet

the surgery at dr. lee’s in arizona is roughly Ten Thousand Dollars if you Don’t have insurance. I don’t have insurance so I don’t get to have my foot fixed so I get to basically be a freak for the rest of my life oh joy.

it doesn’t help much if you live in poverty and have no insurance and doc’s don’t take payment plans. You’re either rich or lucky enough to have insurance to be able to have any kind of healthy life at all.

I feel the same way I’m 34 female and I’m going to try to just get the damn thing removed but without insurance and being poor god knows how I’ll be able to do it. People never understand. Even my own mother. She thinks it’s no big deal she compares it to her gall bladder scar and I’m like, “really? you’re comparing a surgical scar from having your gall bladder removed which is pretty common along with c-section scars to my deformity yeah that helps.thanks mom.” And the kicker is that no one else in my family has this At all they all have beautiful feet and i’m stuck with this fucked up shit.
